About Us
Eat This Comedy is a new venture from comedian and food writer Jason Harris, combining his two loves. While most people eat and then go to a show elsewhere, or go to a show and then eat elsewhere, Eat This Comedy offers the best of both worlds in one space. Guests receive a full-service evening of delicious cuisine and top-flight humor in a venue that is either nontraditional for shows or for dining.
Harris first experimented with this model at Piero’s -the famed Las Vegas hangout for celebrities and mobsters – where his dinner + a show concept, Live From The Monkey Bar, played to sell-out crowds.
Now he’s amped up the concept, teaming up with some his favorite restaurants, chefs and comedians – in Las Vegas and beyond – to create a one-of-a-kind night.
How It Works
The venue (restauranteur) offers a specialty menu, usually items that customers can’t get every day at the space. Diners eat their coursed out meal and then Harris, along with some of his favorite comedian friends, perform a show on the spot at the venue (usually 60 – 75 min). The show is flexible so venues are able to offer drink breaks, table service, etc.
For one all-in ticket price, Eat This Comedy offers a singular experience to patrons who want a night out and are looking for both something familiar and something different. Harris takes great pride in showcasing his duel passions and creating an incredible night for his guests and his partners.
Harris is also able to offer a multiple night entertainment package with a combination of Eat This Comedy and The Trivia Party, his kicked up trivia night meets happy hour meets comedy roast concept, which is currently enjoying a successful residency on The Las Vegas Strip at Resorts World.
About Jason Harris
Jason Harris is a comedian, actor, director, producer, writer and content creator who lives in Las Vegas, NV. That sounds like a lot – it is! – but Harris loves to keep busy. As a comic, he’s done everything from introducing President Joe Biden on stage to keeping the crowd hot for live tapings of Gordon Ramsay’s television show. He toured throughout the United States and in Europe and performs often on the Las Vegas Strip. He is the only comic to perform at Life Is Beautiful in two separate installments. Harris has sold out The Belly Room of The Comedy Store as a headliner as well as The Inspire Theater in downtown Las Vegas.
He was a warmup comic for the hit television show Hell’s Kitchen for two seasons. Harris has been seen on wide-ranging networks and platforms from Bleacher Report to C-Span. He is the grandson of legendary comedian Van Harris.
